Sophia Wilansky who had her arm permanently disabled & maimed by Morton County Law Enforcement explosives wrote: "If anyone else is hurt on the frontlines and needs to pay up front and out-of-pocket for time-sensitive emergency medical care, I would be happy to either lend or give the money out of my medical fund. I think that I received a disproportionate amount of money because I'm white, so I want to make sure that all the Sioux and other native people are taken care of as well, especially the core people who have been making camp run for months. I wish I had known what was happening to Vanessa (Dundon who was blinded that same night by Morton County's shot to her head) before it was too late, I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way. We can't fix the pathetically unequal and unjust healthcare system overnight but we can look after each other in these extraordinary times." https://www.gofundme.com/medical-fund-for-vanessa

💜 UPDATE ON SOPHIA WILANSKY 💜 Sophia Wilansky was one among the hundreds who got ambushed on Bridge 1806 by Morton County Police the night of November 20th, 2016. The group had initially organized an effort to relocate two vehicles that Dakota Access Pipeline workers had set ablaze to help police fortify a barrier to protect construction routes (prior to them placing numerous cement blockades on it) but police had begun attacking them with rubber bullets, firehoses and other riot weapons. Sophia had been struck by a concussion grenade which then exploded after impacting her arm leaving her in critical condition. The photos of her gruesome attack went viral as the extent of the damage was incredibly graphic. #NoDAPL

"'In general, Bridger Pipeline LLC has a poor compliance history,' wrote a federal regulator charged with overseeing pipeline safety in a 2012 order regarding a 2006 oil spill. A Belle Fourche pipeline that spilled 12,200 gallons in May, 2014 occurred on Bureau of Land Management(BLM) land near Buffalo, Wyoming. It was later discovered that Belle Fourche did not have a permit to operate the land. Its sister company, Bridger, was fined $27,029 for trespassing by the BLM. Bridger was also responsbile for dumping up to 50,000 gallons of crude into the scenic Yellowstone River in 2015."
