- The Omahas come from villages and hunting grounds along the Missouri River in what is now the State of Nebraska.

- I work to bring Native stories to Public TV in both my jobs at Native American Public Telecommunications (NAPT) and Nebraska Educational Telecommunication (NET).
I am editing a documentary on the Omaha people with a focus on the history, present and future lives of the Omaha women as storytellers, warriors, leaders, environmentalists, artists, lawgivers and healers.
